The Oscar & Patch family love a great British staycation, without compromising on comfort or luxury. Over the last 14 years, we've been on quite a journey, and we now have our favourite luxury Family-holiday hotels in Cornwall.
Growing up in Looe, Cornwall, and then living in west London for 13 years, I had the opportunity to stay in some of the most magnificent luxury hotels in the world for both business and pleasure before starting a family. From Monte Carlo to Paris and Italy, Miami, and Bangkok, to mention a few. But believe it or not, and I'm not biassed, travelling around Thailand reminded me of how magnificent the beaches in Cornwall are. And even better when we have great weather. As a young girl, I saw the county transformation from a bucket and spade vacation to some of the most magnificent luxury hotels in the country stunning beaches and even better food.
The Oscar & Patch family now live in Britain's ocean City Plymouth Devon, dividing my time between the West Country and the capital. Whenever we need to regroup as a family Cornwall is always our first choice for a short break, here is one our favourite family luxury hotels when in Cornwall .
