L'ATELIER
Behind each piece is a team of expertly skilled designers at our Devon atelier, once home to the famous Jaeger® factory. We have taken care and time to ensure every single detail is of the highest quality design, precise refinement, and impeccable fabrication..
The Workshop, nestled at 237 Union Street, Plymouth, England, is an integral part of both our brand and the city’s textile heritage. Established in the early 20th century, the building was once home to the iconic British fashion house Jaeger® and its clothing factory. It employs 250 local craftspeople and gained recognition when Princess Anne visited in 1983. Following its closure in 1998, the site was thoughtfully revitalized - blending its legacy with modern innovation—and today it proudly houses brand.
Within the workshop, seamstresses gather at large cutting tables, collaborating on patterns. Our children's and women's collections work closely and cohesively with Homeware, ensuring every piece is crafted with precision and care—a true celebration of British master craftsmanship in luxury children’s fashion.
"TODAY we DRAW from THE
BREADTH OF ARCHIVES to
SHAPE each NEW DESIGN."
Today, authentic detailing remains at the heart of our design. We celebrate the contradictions of a British identity, drawing from archives of the 18th and 19th centuries, the expressive spirit of the 60s and 70s to today. These influences sit with the British tradition, reinterpreted with a fresh perspective. Our collections blend vintage charm and modern sensibility, each piece timeless, elegant, and crafted with integrity and authentic British style.

"WE understand THE NEED for LOW IMPACT BRITISH clothing, WITH TRACEABILITY "
The core of our ready-to-wear and home collections is crafted by our dedicated team of Britain’s finest seamstresses and artisans. Each piece is more than an item; it is decades of craftsmanship and care. A love of quality begins in childhood. For over 16 years, our team at Oscar & Patch has quietly inspired. In the studio, Lisa and her team sketch each collection, and in the workshop, their skill brings every design to life.
"OUR heritage, FABRICS TRUSTED BY THE TAILORS OF JEREMY STREET AND SAVILE ROW for OVER 45 YEARS."
As a studio, we have travelled across the United Kingdom in search of the finest fabrics and softest yarns, carefully chosen with provenance and family life in mind. We believe in creating garments from the highest-quality, durable materials—pieces designed to stand the test of time, to be cherished and passed down through generations. Sustainability is at the heart of our process, with organic and responsibly sourced textiles wherever possible. We prioritise British mills, reducing environmental impact while supporting heritage craftsmanship and ensuring enduring quality, refinement, and originality in every piece.
