ONCE UPON A TIME IN ENGLAND

Our utterly individual style has come to be dubbed over time

"Le Style Anglais". The idea still inspires us today. Between town and country, between Cornwall's and Devon's serenity and London’s energy.

Our utterly individual style has come to be dubbed over time "Le Style Anglais." The idea still inspires us today. Between town and country, between Cornwall's and Devon's serenity and London's energy.  From humble beginnings in the cathedral city of Truro, Cornwall, Oscar & Patch has grown to grace elegant homes and families worldwide with its traditional British style. We are an independently owned British luxury brand, inspired by a modern vintage aesthetic. Our collections span childrenswear, womenswear, homeware and interiors, bringing a refined, contemporary edge to the timeless balance between town and country.

Founded by Lisa Baker, BA (Hons), mother of two, British interior designer and stylist, the brand reflects her distinguished career in interiors as lead designer at her own practice, Lisa Baker Design Studio, and in fashion, which began under the late Vivienne Westwood. This foundation led to collaborations with esteemed fashion houses, international luxury brands, members of the Royal Family, and prominent public figures. Lisa’s work as a designer and stylist deepened her passion for heritage craft and timeless design, while her love of nostalgia and history—shaped by the great English practitioners and ateliers—continues to define the aesthetic at the heart of Oscar & Patch today.

OUR FOUNDER

"As a PROUD BRIT and DESIGNER. our FOUNDER  represents THE skills AND CRAFTSMANSHIP for WHICH
GREAT BRITAIN is KNOWN for."

Oscar & Patch was founded by Lisa Baker following her departure from London and a 13-year career in the fashion industry. Her final show was at London Fashion Week, working alongside Anna Wintour, then editor-in-chief of Vogue, and Katy England, renowned for her work with Alexander McQueen. Shortly afterwards, Lisa began a new chapter of motherhood in Cornwall, where she grew up.Struggling to find homeware and interiors that struck the right balance – whimsical enough for children yet sophisticated enough for adults – Oscar & Patch was born.

The brand was created to solve this very challenge, offering thoughtfully designed pieces that appeal to both parents’ refined sensibilities and children’s everyday needs. The ready-to-wear collection was a natural progression, drawing on Lisa’s background in fashion and her personal archive of vintage apparel.

THE FAMILY

"HOME, the CANVAS  FAMILY  life , THE  PLACE OUR Children ARE BORN "

Home is where we eat, drink, and feel most ourselves together, finding comfort and happiness away from the fast-paced modern world. It is within these walls that our children gain the courage and confidence to step out into life’s greater journey, always knowing that the comfort of home will be there when they return. We believe in cherishing life’s simple pleasures, for it is often the little things that matter the most. Precious moments of uncomplicated happiness serve as our constant inspiration, and children, in their purest form, gather sense impressions rather than mere ideas – treasures they hold close to their hearts. It’s reflected in the way they pause with affection over a favourite blanket or ask for the covers to be tucked in just so.
