FROM LOOM TO HEIRLOOM
We have travelled the length and breadth of the United Kingdom in search of the finest fabrications and softest yarns with provenance and families in mind.
The Oscar & Patch house is built on timeless, classic quintessentially English stripes and elegant gingham. It’s at the core of our collections. The simplicity and classic elegance of our stripes and ginghams let us experiment with contrasting florals and textured plain fabrics in similar colorways to cohesively coordinate and add a little fun to a scheme. Whilst retaining the signature Oscar & Patch eclectic English aesthetic.
Our long-lasting products and the way we work built on sustainability, as a small brand, we have little commercial influence on effect change. However, the global movement toward sustainability is on our side, and we believe that collaborating with like-minded British suppliers, some of which hold royal warrants is the key to our longevity. With only a small portion of our raw material supply chains based outside of the United Kingdom and best in class.
“We make certain that everything we design and make is easy to care for and wonderfully durable”

BRITISH COTTON
"WE understand THE NEED for LOW IMPACT BRITISH goods, WITH TRACEABILITY "
The core fabrics of our collections are made by the first UK cotton weaving mill to be awarded Soil Association and Global Organic Textile Standard accreditation. Produced in Lancashire, the heart of UK textile manufacturing, by a family-owned and operated weaving mill. The mill has been lovingly driven by a passionate, highly skilled, and dedicated team since 1871, nearly 150 years! The mill is known for its natural and organic approach at every stage from farm to fabric, in a simple yet timeless palette of colors. With no chemicals being used during the weaving process, the only finishing treatment given to the fabrics is pure Pennine water.

LIBERTY COTTON
" SINCE the 1890s LIBERTY WAS
A BYWORD FOR, THE VERY BEST AVANT- garde TETILE DESIGN"
Original British Arthur Liberty, known for his floral and graphic fabric prints, printed the first Liberty fabrics shortly after opening his shop on Regent Street in London in 1875. By the 1890s, Liberty Fabrics had become synonymous with avant-garde textile design. Every Liberty fabric bolt is now the result of a one-of-a-kind manufacturing process: hand-drawn by the in-house design team, printed in its factory near Lake Como, and cared for by skilled technicians who oversee the production of over 150 different designs each year.
LANCASHIRE COTTON
"SUPPLYING the WORLD WITH cotton PRODUCTS, WAS ONCE THE ALMOST-EXCLUSIVE DOMAIN
of THE UK "
Our textile fabrications and fashion fabrics of our collections are produced by a 150-year-old British family business in Lancashire England, awarded the Queens Award for Export and accredited for sustainable, organic yarns and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification for dyeing and finishing. Manchester and its neighbouring towns were previously known as 'cottonopolis,' referring to a British industry that was once the envy of the world. When Britain accounted for 80% of global cotton yarn and fabric output, the city served as the hub of the country's cotton industry.
