Sustainability is not a choice but an inherent responsibility woven into every decision we make.We believe in the quiet power of conscious creation. Each piece is thoughtfully conceived with longevity in mind, to be passed down through the generations.

As a small brand, we have little commercial influence over effect change. We have made a commitment, however, to be mindful of everything we do. From sourcing raw materials and promoting traditional craft techniques to collaborating with like-minded small businesses throughout the United Kingdom. That manufacture our products, some of which hold royal warrants. Only a small proportion of our raw material supply chains are based outside of the UK and best in class. Allowing us to weave together personality and purpose, for the whole family.

After leaving my childhood home in a small Cornish fishing port to seek my fortune in the vibrant city of London in the 1990s, I spent a decade immersed in the world of fashion, working alongside some of the industry’s most influential figures. During this time, I was involved in shows set within some of Britain’s most iconic architectural buildings – experiences that continue to influence our collections today. Alongside my work as a stylist in the fashion industry, I ran a small business buying and selling couture, vintage clothing, and rare retro homeware, trading primarily at Portobello Market and throughout Notting Hill.

There, I built a loyal client base of influential figures within the fashion world. With the support of The Prince’s Trust, which awarded me a £3,000 start-up grant, and guidance from industry mentors, I was able to transform this early venture into something far more meaningful – a journey that would, in time, lead to Oscar & Patch.

We have made it our mission to collaborate with only the very best of the country's finest makers, with an unwavering commitment to British manufacturing, some of whom hold royal warrants. We take our social responsibility seriously, and we care greatly about the lives of the individuals involved in the making and manufacturing of our products. We set out with a simple mission.

To design and create products that are useful, beautiful, and benefit others. Good for people, communities, customers, and the planet. We do this by manufacturing most of our products right here in the UK with only a small portion of our raw material supply chains based outside of the United Kingdom and best in class. And by doing so we aim to sustain and create skilled jobs and help to restore local economic prosperity and pride.

As the founder and creative director, I am passionate about supporting craft and manufacturing businesses throughout Great Britain with the aim of preserving traditional skills, believing that once a skill is gone, it will never return. These people are the true heroes of the Oscar & Patch story, a triumph for the British landscape that was once the envy of the world for British craft and manufacturing, with their stories embedded in every piece they touch with their hands.

Our cloth selection process is rooted in a profound respect for timeless textile craftsmanship. We collaborate with heritage mills in Britain and Europe, some perfecting their artistry over generations. Each Oscar & Patch garment is a testament to this dedication – not just in quality, but in a rich legacy of textile innovation. For nearly 45 years, our trusted manufacturing partner has crafted luxury fabrics for the most distinguished tailors of Jermyn Street and Savile Row. We incorporate GOTS-certified and organic cottons wherever possible, and where that’s not yet achievable, every cotton we select adheres to the rigorous standards of Oeko-Tex and REACH certification.

But our dedication goes beyond the final piece. We foster enduring partnerships with our suppliers, guided by transparency, ethical sourcing, and a shared commitment to environmental integrity. Every partner is chosen with care—evaluated not only for technical mastery, but for their steadfast dedication to a more conscious future. In this harmony of materials, craftsmanship, and trusted alliances, we create pieces that not only celebrate Britain’s finest traditions but also embrace a mindful tomorrow.

The core fabrics in our homeware collections are woven in Lancashire by a family-owned textile mill established in 1871. Located in the historic heart of British textile manufacturing, the mill was the first UK cotton weaving mill to achieve both Soil Association and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) accreditation, reflecting its long-standing commitment to quality, sustainability, and traditional craftsmanship.
