OSCAR England is a luxury fashion and homeware brand rooted in British sensibility, modern aspirations and the notion of style.

Established in 2008 as Oscar & Patch England and named after the founder’s son, Oscar, the brand began with a simple vision: to create beautifully considered homeware that was whimsical enough for children yet sophisticated enough for adults. Today, OSCAR England enters a new chapter, bringing together luxury ready-to-wear, sleepwear and homeware under one distinctive design house, where British heritage meets contemporary elegance.

Born in England and raised in Cornwall, founder and creative director Lisa Baker developed an early appreciation for fashion, architecture and the decorative arts. Moving to London to study Fashion Media, she established a distinguished career as a stylist working between London and Paris, dressing some of the world’s most recognised figures, including members of the British Royal Family, and working with prestigious fashion houses and luxury brands, including those of the late Dame Vivienne Westwood, Sir Paul Smith, and the late Giorgio Armani and Garrard, to name but a few.

She later returned to Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth, graduating with honours in Architecture, Interior Design and Styling from Arts University Plymouth, uniting her experience in fashion and interiors under one distinctive design house.

Known for her understated, androgynous British style, instinctive use of colour and discerning eye for craftsmanship, Lisa draws inspiration from the traditions of Savile Row tailoring, where she once worked alongside master craftsmen, and the architectural grandeur of England’s great country houses. Her aesthetic balances masculine restraint with feminine elegance, combining the romance of bygone eras with refined silhouettes and contemporary detailing.

From her British atelier, once home to the iconic British fashion house Jaeger, Lisa works alongside her exceptionally skilled team to create seasonal ready-to-wear, luxury sleepwear, homeware and considered made-to-order pieces, with an emphasis on exceptional textiles, thoughtful proportions and exquisite finishing.

Recognised through business and design awards, her work has attracted distinguished clientele, including Carole Middleton, mother of Catherine, Princess of Wales. With designs finding their place in beautiful homes and considered wardrobes, OSCAR England embodies the enduring sophistication of British style, where heritage and modernity meet.
