OUR HISTORY
OUR VALUES & PURPOSE
Compassion for people and the planet has served as the cornerstone of everything we do since the day our House was built in 2008.
At Oscar, our family heritage is woven into every detail. As a family-owned British luxury brand, we balance generations of craftsmanship with contemporary design. Each piece carries its own story, thoughtfully crafted by skilled artisans who uphold a legacy of expertise, and is destined to become part of your family’s story for generations to come. For us, true luxury lies in creating with intention, ensuring every piece embodies quality, care, and enduring meaning.
“Our six guiding principles are family, quality, creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability, and community. Were used to build our home and our guiding values”.

FAMILY
"OSCAR , the CANVAS OF THE family LIFE, THE PLACE WE call HOME "
The place our children are born, where we eat and drink and feel at our most comfortable together, where we find comfort and happiness, from the fast-paced modern world, the place that equips our children with the courage to step out into our greater journey because there know it will always be there when they turn around.
We believe in making the most of life's simple pleasures - it's the little things that matter. Precious moments of uncomplicated happiness are our constant inspiration, As children do not collect ideas so much as sense impressions they must hold them like a treasure. It is in that look suddenly when they murmur lovingly over a favorite blanket.” Or when they ask that the covers be tucked in just so.

CRAFTMANSHIP
"OSCAR celebrates BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP and MANUFACTURING AT ITS BEST."
Founder and designer Lisa Baker is passionate about supporting craft and manufacturing businesses throughout Great Britain with the aim of preserving traditional skills, believing that once a skill is gone, it will never return. These people are the true heroes of the Oscar story, a triumph for the British landscape that was once the envy of the world for British craft and manufacturing, with their stories embedded in every piece they touch with their hands.
Producing the collection in Britain allows for constant monitoring of the product's quality. Each Oscar & Patch creation is a labor of love that calls for a number of time-honored techniques that come together to produce an heirloom-quality work that is timeless in its form, function, and craftsmanship. And it is with these in mind that we create collections that are built to last and call them future heirlooms.

SUSTAINABILITY
"BUY LESS, choose WELL, MAKE IT LAST where CONSIDERING WHAT YOU BUY AND THE STORY BEHIND IT "
We work closely with trusted suppliers holding certifications such as GOTS, BCI, OCS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and Zero Waste initiatives, ensuring materials are sourced with care. All garments and homeware are produced in the United Kingdom, supporting British mills and manufacturers and reducing unnecessary transportation, with only a small portion of raw materials sourced beyond the UK from best-in-class suppliers. Fabrics are thoughtfully selected, favouring organic, responsibly sourced, and certified textiles wherever possible. Waste is carefully managed through considered ordering, reuse, and collaboration with local institutions to ensure surplus materials are not discarded.
Our packaging uses recyclable and FSC-certified materials, and we continue to reduce single-use plastics across our business.Through thoughtful design, careful sourcing, and ongoing accountability, we aim to create pieces made to last — for generations, in both quality and impact.

, AND EXCEPTIONAL SKILLED HANDS "
We have made it our mission to collaborate with only the very best of the country's finest makers, with an unwavering commitment to British manufacturing, some of which hold royal warrants. We take social responsibility seriously, and we care greatly about the lives of the individuals engaged in the making and manufacture of our products. We set out with a simple mission.
To design and create products that are useful and beautiful, and benefit others. Good for people, communities, customers, and the planet. We do this by manufacturing most of our products right here in the UK with only a small portion of our raw material supply chains based outside of the United Kingdom and best in class. And by doing so we aim to sustain and create skilled jobs and help to restore local economic prosperity and pride.
