Just to give you a little background about me, I grew up in Cornwall and moved to London with no contacts – just one idea and a dream: to break into the fashion industry . I studied Fashion Media at West Thames College in West London and even turned down an offer from Central Saint Martins to study fashion design. By sheer chance, I met Vivienne Westwood on the tube - a pivotal moment that led me to pivot into fashion styling and get representation from a leading London agent.

I went on to collaborate with prestigious brands like Paul Smith, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Chanel, Christian Dior, Adidas, Christopher Kane, and the elite tailors of Savile Row. To name just a few, I’ve dressed prominent figures – from supermodels to royalty – and even declined an offer from Kensington Palace to become a royal dresser.
Later, I graduated with honours in architectural interior design and styling from Arts University Plymouth. Now, under my own name, I unite fashion and interiors – offering luxury womenswear, sleepwear, homeware, and designs for the next generation.

Eiderdown quilts, or “eiderdowns,” were introduced to Victorian Britain as a lightweight alternative to heavy blankets. The Titanic famously carried 800 eiderdown duvets on its maiden voyage.

In those days, beds were dressed in layers - beginning with a top sheet, followed by blankets, and finally an eiderdown.

They were considered the crowning glory of the bed, prized for their remarkable warmth whilst remaining beautifully lightweight.
Today, we continue this great British tradition, creating heirloom eiderdowns that are both beautiful and useful.

Handcrafted in our Devon workshop in timeless checks and classic ticking, they are wonderfully versatile for both mother and child. ❤️

The 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II (born April 21, 1926) is marked on April 21, 2026.

And quite by chance I came across this beautiful portrait of the seven-year-old Princess Elizabeth of York – the future Queen – by Philip Alexius de László, painted in 1933.

I must say, I personally find it highly stylised. ❤️

We offer trade accounts to interior designers, stylists, architects, and set designers in the UK and worldwide. Trade pricing is available on all full-price Oscar lampshades. We’re happy to collaborate on bespoke projects, whether you have your own fabric or would like us to source it for you.

To get started, we simply need the lampshade design, required quantities, and your project timeline. There is no minimum order, allowing flexibility for both bespoke pieces and larger production runs.

Each lampshade is hand cut and sewn in our Devon, England workshop by master craftspeople with over 50 years’ experience in this discipline. Every piece is unique, with natural variations in pattern and tone — part of the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
